I´ve also been doing some roller coaster lately. I went to the amusement park Efteling in the south of the Netherlands a weekend in September.

My last weekend in the Netherlands was spent in Belgium
During my last work trip to the Netherlands we went to Belgium during the weekend.
On the Saturday we went to Brussels. We went all touristy and visited the icon of Brussels, the Atomium.

The light house of Almere
After have seen this "light house" from the apartment for half a year, we decided to pay it a visit before me leaving the Netherlands.
It turns out it wasn´t a real light house. It´s more of a viewpoint tower in the shape of a light house, i.e. there´s no light in it, just a "balcony" with a great view!

Amsterdam
A Sunday in June was spent in Amsterdam. We just strolled around, enjoying the city, the company, the weather...
We finally walked the 9 streets and looked into the unique stores there (a lot of them where closed since it was Sunday).
And we had to sit down, relax and enjoy the view at the Leidseplein together with a nice glass of something cooling. Ohh, and we also had the lovely ice cream from the store next to the bridge on the first picture.
A great day in a nice city!
